Tough week for several schools close to our collective hearts salvaged by a JMU win in Boone, another head coach has been fired, Kansas might be a football state, and more!
Tough week for several schools close to our collective hearts salvaged by a JMU win in Boone, another head coach has been fired, Kansas might be a football state, and more!
Week 4 brings us a heavier dose of conference matchups and with that, hopefully some additional clarity on who some of these teams actually are/what they're capable of. Games picked = Clemson @ Wake Forest, Duke @ Kansas, Florida @ Tennessee, Notre Dame @ North Carolina, and Arkansas vs Texas A&M.
After a wild Week 2, Week 3 was relatively kind to the schools in the top 25, though we did see some scares at Florida and Arkansas; we also confirmed that Georgia still looks good, Kalen DeBoer gets guys open, and Tommy Rees has some old-school verbal abuse in his coaching toolbox.
In addition to looking at the final week of largely non-conference action ahead, we’ve got some bonus tennis talk and updates on Floridian lawncare and public transportation. Games picked = BYU @ Oregon, Penn State @ Auburn, Texas Tech @ NC State, Michigan State @ Washington, and Miami @ Texas A&M.
The Sun Belt gave us a Blood Week for the ages, delivering not one but two Top-10 upsets on the road AND beating Nebraska in what ultimately became Scott Frost’s final game at the helm.
Back from the holiday weekend with what should be the final jumbo-sized episode for a while this season - we’ve got plenty of delightful Week 1 happenings to discuss and a decent-looking Week 2 as well. Games picked = Alabama @ Texas, Tennessee @ Pittsburgh, Iowa State @ Iowa, Kentucky @ Florida, and Baylor @ BYU.
Join us as we review some of the more interesting Week 0 action and prepare ourselves for 5 straight days with college football games. Games picked = WVU @ PITT, Oregon v Georgia, Cincinnati @ Arkansas, Utah @ Florida, and Notre Dame @ Ohio State.
Games are bearing down upon us once again so we managed to fit plenty of updates on the local competitive golf scenes AND 3 conference previews (starting at 36:40) AND two Week 0 picks against the spread into a single beefy episode.

We’re back to recap a weekend of conference champions being settled, playoff rankings getting finalized, and coaches continuing to shuffle around about the country.
Conference championship weekend is somehow upon us so we are prepared to dutifully provide our picks, but we’ve also got a ton of coaching moves/news to discuss including a last-minute shocker from Charlottesville that called for an emergency bonus session (1:09:35) to discuss the UVA situation.
Jam-packed episode as we recap Thanksgiving & rivalry weekend then dive into an absurd coaching carousel thus far; episode recorded as Brian Kelly texted Notre Dame players about their 7AM Tuesday morning meeting that ended up lasting 11 minutes.
Yes, there are picks and games to review but the big news of Sunday afternoon was the firing of Florida coach Dan Mullen, so join us for another deep dive into the Florida big board and how things around the country might be impacted by that opening.
Plenty of coaching carousel discussion to take on, including a new opening in Blacksburg. Games picked = Michigan State @ Ohio State, Arkansas @ Alabama, SMU @ Cincinnati, Virginia @ Pittsburgh, and Oregon @ Utah.
Washington has joined the coaching carousel fray, Florida escapes a potentially disastrous loss but might ultimately join them, Kansas doubles their win total on the season, and we dive into some gambling talk as well.
Join us to muse over the hirings at UCONN and Texas Tech, as well as look forward to this weekend’s games that could play a role in the playoff picture. Games picked = Oklahoma @ Baylor, Georgia @ Tennessee, Purdue @ Ohio State, Texas A&M @ Ole Miss, and NC State @ Wake Forest.
