Week 7 was an awesome week across the board and Florida-LSU somehow lived up to the hype. Join us as we flame various offensive coordinators and get off the rails to stay true to our brand.
Week 7 brings us some of the most important games to date this season with big games across several conferences. Games picked = Oklahoma vs Texas, Alabama @ Texas A&M, USC @ Notre Dame, Penn State @ Iowa, and Florida @ LSU.
Week 6 is in the books and with that roughly half of this college football regular season - the Auburn/Florida game largely lived up to the hype and there were some not-so-predictable results that have left us puzzled (looking at you, Washington and Miami).
Week 6 brings plenty of conference match-ups along with it and we also spend some time discussing California’s recently-signed Fair Pay to Play Act & its potential impacts on the landscape of collegiate athletics. Games picked = Iowa @ Michigan, Auburn @ Florida, Michigan State @ Ohio State, California @ Auburn, and Washington @ Stanford.
A fairly vanilla set of results came out of Week 5’s matchups but they still provided plenty to talk about, and we have officially entered Coaching Search SZN as Rutgers is the first to eject a coach from his hot seat. Our Mack Brown impersonations also return as UNC comes painfully close to upsetting #1 Clemson in Chapel Hill.
We’re back to preview week 5 and also discuss such topics as D’Eriq King’s interesting red-shirt decision as well as who will replace Jeremy Pruitt at Tennessee. Games picked = UVA @ Notre Dame, USC @ Washington, Kansas State @ Oklahoma State, Mississippi State @ Auburn, and Washington State @ Auburn.
We’re already a third of the way through this CFB season and our last major weekend of non-conference games is ready for review. UCLA-Washington State was the crown jewel in terms of chaos; bonus discussion of head coach sideline body language!
We’re back with more fire content to preview Week 4 in our own special way - better games on paper than last week so plan your naps accordingly. Games picked = Utah @ USC, Michigan @ Wisconsin, Auburn @ Texas A&M, UCF @ Pitt, and Notre Dame @ Georgia.
Week 3 brought us some upsets across the nation as well as some exciting finishes for teams close to our heart. El Assico lived up to its name, USC has a lot of questions to answer, and ACC schools are making panicky hires of ‘special assistants’ to salvage their respective seasons.
With Week 3 approaching and not many marquee games on paper we take a look at some of the potential gems that could be hidden in the rough. Games picked = Washington State @ Houston, Stanford @ UCF, Iowa @ Iowa State, Florida @ Kentucky, and Florida State @ UVA.
Week 2 is in the books and with it came some impressive performances from teams like Clemson, LSU, and USC, while others should be fairly concerned (FSU, Michigan, Washington, etc.). Bonus Washed Adult content from your favorite media moguls.
We’ve been blessed with 2 Top-15 matchups amongst the Week 2 potholes so join us as we break down games to watch and waste no time discussing hypothetical hot seat situations that could crank up after Saturday. Games picked = Cincinnati @ Ohio State, Texas A&M @ Clemson, LSU @ Texas, Miami @ UNC, and Stanford @ USC.
Week 1 is in the books and while the SEC had a strange performance we only saw one team in the Top 25 drop their opener. Mostly encouraging signs from teams close to our hearts and plenty to look forward to from some of the Freshman QBs we saw for the first time.
The first full slate of games for the 2019 season is upon us, as is Hurricane Dorian (stay safe Southeast USA). We highlight some of the games on which you should focus, get an update from Paradise and pick games against the spread for entertainment purposes only.
We had real, live games this past weekend - Miami-UF was sloppy fun and Arizona-Hawaii went full-on PAC12 After Dark. We talk players that impressed, disappointments from the season’s first matchups, and plenty of other nonsense.
The wait for real live game action is nearly over so it’s time to preview the real Conference of Champions - Clemson seems poised to repeat, the Coastal should be as Zany as ever, and we do talk about the Noles. Bonus update from Paradise and more fast food banter.
Real football games are on the horizon so it’s time to delve into the SEC’s kings of college football and figure out how many Playoff spots they’ll occupy this season. Plenty of talent across the board and some brutal schedules set up what’s sure to be another chaotic year.
Plenty of intriguing topics to cover in the B1G as we approach perhaps Michigan’s best chance at a conference title in the Harbaugh era. Updates from Paradise with Coach E and very professional discussion about plenty more.
We shift our focus to the gunslinging offenses of the BIG 12 (with appearances made by TCU and Iowa State’s defenses) to talk more ball - in a conference with a lot of new coaching faces, what should we expect from teams that aren’t Oklahoma or Texas? Bonus tales of home-ownership adventures from Logan and Jason.
Join us to discuss the PAC-12 squads and their respective Playoff hopes - players we’re excited about, coaches on the hot seat, and games to mark on your calendar. Bonus Bachelor in Paradise content!
